Basically, the Windows Clipboard just isn't built to pull data across the network like this! It's meant to work on a single machine, where it can do most, if not all, of its work in memory. Hopefully, this operation is part of a Windows Forms Application - otherwise you're in the wrong forum. First question - can you clarify which are the "remote" and "local" systems here? If the "remote" system is the one that you're Remote Desktopping to and the "local" one is the client PC from which you're doing so, then I have to computer freezes when downloading large files why are you doing this anyway?
The whole point of Remote Desktop is to allow you to run processes on a remote machine. Why would you need to pass anything back to your own PC? If the "local" system is the Remote Desktopped one and the "remote" system is somewhere else again, then I might suggest you have network problems - KB really isn't all that big.
